Precious Ita is a passionate development advocate, social care professional, and entrepreneur with a strong interdisciplinary background in science, education, health, and business. She holds a degree in Pure and Industrial Chemistry and a Diploma in Health and Social Care, combining analytical expertise with a deep-rooted commitment to human development and community service.

Currently working in the Health and Social Care sector, Precious brings hands-on experience in supporting vulnerable individuals and championing inclusive well-being. She has also served in the education sector and business environments, equipping her with a holistic perspective on sustainable empowerment.

As the Founder and Chairperson of Aspire Development and Empowerment Foundation (ASDEF), she leads initiatives focused on transforming the lives of women, children, and youths—especially those in underserved communities. Her work spans across education, health, and entrepreneurship, driving access, equity, and empowerment for individuals to reach their full potential.

In addition to her professional work, Precious is a proud member of the International Society for Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) and a committed mental health advocate. Her advocacy is rooted in personal and professional conviction to break stigma, promote wellness, and ensure access to support services for all—especially in marginalized communities.

Through her leadership, ASDEF continues to design and implement impactful programs that promote self-reliance, capacity-building, well-being, and social inclusion.
